The Areas I Cover

I'm based in Walpole Cross Keys, Norfolk and work in the villages around me - I cover a range of 3 miles from my base, mileage is charged after this. Have a look at the map below and get in touch if you're not sure if this includes you.

  • I’m interested! What happens next?
Before I’ll accept a booking I’ll need to come to your home to meet you, and your pets. This is completely free and with no obligation to either of us. We’ll chat through what you and your pets need, and you can ask me all the questions you’d like! When we’ve agreed the service and we're both happy, we'll sign an agreement and confirm the booking details. I’ll take details of an emergency contact person and your regular vet, and we’ll discuss what will happen in the unlikely event that there’s a problem. I’ll also ask for a deposit so you can feel confident your booking is secure.
  • I don’t need regular help with my pets - is that OK?
Yes! I can take ad hoc work, for example I’ve had many clients who work a shift pattern, or only have the occasional day out. Once we’ve completed the initial paperwork just give me as much notice as you can of your needs and if I can help then I will.
  • How many dogs do you walk at once?
Most of my walks are solo and I only walk multiple dogs if they are from the same household. Although I’m insured to walk up to 6 dogs at once, this isn't a service I offer.
  • Will you look after my pets at your house?
No, I’m not insured or licensed to take care of other people’s pets at my house. I will visit or stay with your pets in their own homes, slotting into their routine and environment.
  • My pet needs regular medication, is that something you can do?
I have experience of giving cats and dogs pills, drops, topical meds and insulin injections. I’d ask you to keep all your pet’s meds in their original packaging so I can see the vet’s directions. I’d also ask you to show me how you give the medication to your pet, and give me written permission to do it myself.
  • I’ve never used a pet sitter before and I’m nervous. Are you the right person?
The welfare of your pets is always at the heart of my service. My aim is that my clients can go away for a few hours or a few weeks, confident that their pets and home are being taken excellent care of. I’ve been pet sitting, dog walking and house sitting since 2013, and have some clients that have used me for 7+ years. As well as having written references I can share I also have clients who’ve said they’re happy to chat about what I do. Please, if you’re not sure just get in touch.
